::MARCHlog

:: March 31, 2002
Going to begin a new month in a few hours. And April is on it's way. With April's gaming releases to be waiting for, I don't know what I'll do until then. Well, first I'll try to get a copy of Desert Siege. In this desert of an area, games come late and few. A true gamer must seek out and find his purchase.

NO! I do not have the Ghost Recon Mission Pack: Desert Siege. I weep at the though of it.

Another thing I must weep at, is the fact that Grand Theft Auto 3 has been pushed farther back into the gaming world as a late 'ol releaser that couldn't make it in April. If my memory serves me correctly, GTF3 is supposivly goning to be released around the end of May. Must be the bugs in multiplayer. Must be...

:: March 22, 2002
Yikes, the 22nd already, and what has MattGamer been doing in the past 8 days? Well for starters, I've been doing some gaming with one special game called Metal of Honor: Allied Assault.

MOHAA

One game you can't put down after just a few hours of playing.

Also, just yesterday, I went to my first Pro football game in Casper, Wyoming. The game consisted of the Casper, Wyoming: Calvary versus the South Dakota, Rapid City: Red Dogs in the NIFL (National Indoor Football League). Even though I live in Wyoming and speak Wyomingish, I was rooting on for the Red Dogs all the way. GOOOO DOGS!

The game ended with the Dogs winning with a one point lead, 50 to 49.

Having a break from the web site, I am now in the workings of yet another web design for my site. This design will include a different layout and a more pleasing to the eye view. Just wait and see, for MattGamer will bring the new chew to the crew.

The day of gaming :: March 15, 2002

Dungeon Siege

Anyone like games with Siege in them? Well here's another game that I'm anticipating. It's called Dungeon Siege, and that's pretty darn close to Desert Siege. Check out the game at DungeonSiege.com. Awesome game that I will defiantly buy.

DS SITE ::.
You want a Desert Siege official site? Sure? Clickhere.

Desert Siege GOLD ::.

I just found out that Ghost Recon: Desert Siege is coming out March 26 and has now gone GOLD. GoneGold.com is the site which I get my dates for game pre-releases.

The show off, MattGamer ::.
Look at my ego page here. And look around for little stories at the end of each page. Very interesting.

Snow spoils everything, except... :: March 13, 2002
I hate snow, and I haven't stated that enough. But when there are a couple of girls, and a bunch of boys. And we start an after youth snowball fight, well, snow doesn't seem so bad. It's the best stuff in the world. w00t, guys against girls! Go!
And if you want a snowball fight in those hot places, clickhere for the Half-Life's Snow War MOD. Go for it, you deserve some snow, California!

Clan Fallout ::
Yachoo! My second game in the Fallout Clan [FC]. Today I fought the clan ALK in a 2vs1 game, and I was the one. Not too fair, but good practice. They didn't tell me what their clan name meant, but they did tell me they lived in Sweden (or at least one of them did). You can see my clan's overall stats here, and my individual clan members stats here. I lost the game...

counter ::
You guys like my counter? Nice, eh? I got it from the free-giving DHTML scripting site called, DynamicDrive.com. Nice place for webmasters to lounge.

I'm In A Clan! ::
I officially have been recruited to a clan. Which clan, the Fallout Clan of Ghost Recon. You can see me here. My name is [FC]MattGamer. And if any of you clan gamers want a to challenge us, go right ahead.

First Review :: March 5, 2002
My first review is up in the reviews page. Tell me how you liked it with writing an e-mail to matt_gamer@hotmail.com.
I'm a n00b at writing reviews, so go easy on me.

Gaming Friends ::
I love friends, especially when they set up dedicated servers. This new friend I have is named W}{istler and has a dedicated server called Widow Maker, up for Ghost Recon. You can go to their Widow Maker site here or on the link to the right. Although the server is a bit laggy for me (due to my 56k modem), we can play a little bit. I've also found out that the server is located in the midst of Idaho. That much I did find out. Go visit if you have some time to spare.

All In a days work... :: March 1, 2002
Welcome again to my humble abode of chaos. My site has been refinished three times since January 1st. I hope now that THIS is my final and last view of my site.

The Homies ::
I have been learning Flash 5 and now want to make a monthly movie/show that has The Homies (Jake, Jared, and Joe) in different situations that I and my friends go through. I hope to get this out before June. I would be glad to take any stories you can come up with for these three guys. Just send your stories to matt_gamer@hotmail.com.

The characteristics of the three are stated below.
Jake :: Leader, Loud, Hates Mullets, Skates Good.
Jared :: Occasional Leader (when Jake is not around), Also Hates Mullets, Suicidal Skater.
Joe :: Psycho, Eats Crap, Secret Pro Skater (but no one knows about it).
That pretty much states the three. They cuss with words like the following: Frick, Dang, Craphead, Ship, Ask, ect. Their ages are around 7 to 8.
They do not the average mullet, once seen, they will shave it off with anything sharp.

Ghost Recon Fun! ::
Since Ghost Recon rules on internet play over a 56k modem with your brother playing another laggy game on the network, I'm going to talk about Ghost Recon MP (multi play).
Ghost Recon was one of the first games that made me go out and buy it first thing, once on shelves for $50. With little hype to spare. I played the game and actually beat it in a month on the rookie level of difficulty. Now that I have dominated the game, in a way, I am playing internet CO-OP and loving every second of it. You didn't know playing with special-ops soldiers was so much fun until you played Ghost Recon.
The newest thing I found out about the game, was while playing a few minutes ago. I was playing CO-OP (of coarse) with 10 other fellas and all of a sudden, "Swoosh!" Out of nowhere this grenade came wizzing by my head. Exploding behind me, and nearly killing my friend behind me. Amazed and shocked that the AI could fire grenades, my teammate and I started scanning the misty terrain, searching for the only shadow that moves. Once seen, I sent a shotload of bullets wizzing up his booty. (Actually a burst of three bullets, but it sounded much cooler that way.)
Accounting to my special skills in tactical ops, I only got one kill in the whole game. But it sure was an afternoon well spent. Seeing that Ghost Recon is about $30 in any local store, I would recommend that you would expand your gaming library and play the dang game. It's pure gold.
